(AWD) Murcielago Tuning

The all-wheel-drive (AWD) Murcielago, like most from the Lamborghini line, immediately turned heads. Even though the brand is certainly Italian, the name Murcielago means "bat" (as in the animal) in Spanish. Language lessons aside, to the common person, Murcielago simply means "wow."

Lamborghini hasn't really dropped off the map in terms of trendsetting power in recent years; it's just that other manufacturers, like Bugatti, have caught up. Of course, the Murcielago's 6.5-liter V12 632 horsepower engine is nothing to sneeze at, but it's not the most powerful out.

This is uncharted territory for Lamborghini. For years, the only other manufacturer to give them a run for their money in terms of out-and-out speed was Ferrari. Try as they might, other manufacturers still cannot remove Lamborghini from the top ranking among the world's best sports cars. They're a mainstay.

The Murcielago comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, but it is also available with an e-gear auto-shifting manual transmission, akin to what F-1 racecars use, with paddles mounted on the steering column that allow for instant shifting. Murcielago also boasts an electronic traction control with an electronic adaptive suspension.

Mercedes-Benz INterior Design

Mercedes-Benz says its new Advanced Design Studio in Como, Italy played a significant role in the interior design of the new B-Class.

The company added that the cabin also sports higher-quality materials and can be customized with numerous features and options such as covering the dashboard in hand-stitched ARTICO man-made leather.

The new B-Class, which continues to use the current versions sandwich floor, will be making its world premiere at the IAA in Frankfurt in mid September before Mercedes-Benz rolls it out to European dealerships in November this year.

New Volkswagen Beetle Car

Hitler wanted the design project for the Beetle started and gave the job to Ferdinand Porshe, later to become very well known for the "Porsche" cars that bore his name. Hitler specified some criteria, including a top speed of 62 mph (100 kmh), at least 42 miles to the gallon fuel consumption, able to transport at least 2 adults and 3 children and to be able to sell for less than what was at the time the equivalent of 86 pounds (UK currency).

Thus began the history of the VW Beetle, arguably the most famous car in history.

The big question was the engine to be used and the placement of the engine, and in 1935 an Austrial engineer came up with a design for a flat four engine, Porshe having previously decided that the engine should be rear mounted. This engine was an air cooled engine, and was cheap to build, and this engine powered hundreds of thousands of beetles for the next 40 years.

New Volkswagen Beetle

The VW Beetle is one of the most well known cars in history. The beetle came out initially in 1938, and has been in production in one form or another for most of the years from 1938 to 2003. The VW Beetle is without doubt one of the most classic cars in history. And the history of the VW Beetle is an interesting one indeed.

The original idea for the VW Beetle, or what is also known as the VW Bug, came from Adolf Hitler. It is said that he had the idea of a "peoples car" in 1924 whilst he way in prison. He wanted a car that anyone could afford, and also to help with the unemployment problem that existed in post WW1 Germany. In 1933 the Nazi party came to power and Hitler raised the issue of building special roads for the peoples car, and in 1933 the government began a program of construction of "autobahns" for German drivers. "Volkswagon" (VW) is the German name for peoples car.

Volkswagen Beetle For Sale includes

Dealer-installed options allow the customer to upgrade from 16- to 17-inch wheels, add a rear spoiler, and upgrade the audio system with a 6-CD changer mounted in the trunk. The two factory options are a power sunroof for the Beetle coupe and special 17-inch wheels for the convertible. So, for the customer that wants 17-inch wheels on the convertible, they have their choice between two distinct styles. There are also two specialty models called the Final Edition and the New Beetle Red Rock Edition.

Volkswagen includes a 2.5L 5-cylinder engine under the hood of the front-wheel-drive 2010 Beetle. This motor generates 150 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque, and Volkswagen pairs it with a 6-speed automatic transmission standard. There is a 5-speed manual transmission, but it's only available on the coupe. It doesn't seem to make a great deal of difference as the EPA rates them the same: 20/29/23 city/highway/combined.
